OUR FACILITY
Ø Black Horse Manor is located in Pleasureville, Kentucky. Exclusive, private and picturesque, it is a perfect combination for a training and breeding facility. Easily accessible, located just 10 miles off of Interstate 64 halfway between Louisville and Lexington. It offers easy access to both airports and is just minutes away from historic Shelbyville. The Kentucky Horse Park, home of the 2010 World Equestrian Games is just 45 minutes away.
Ø This gorgeous farm is situated on 40 gently rolling acres in beautiful Shelby County Kentucky; “The American Saddlebred Capital of the World”. Mares and foals will enjoy the Kentucky Blue Grass in our spacious and safe pastures; surrounded by beautiful Centaur Fencing.
Ø All pastures have electricity and water available in addition to 2 spacious run in sheds with 14 x 14 stalls. Additional run in sheds are in the planning process.
Ø The eleven stall training barn provides a safe and comfortable home for your equine investment. 12 x 12 stalls in an open and airy environment complete with an Insect Away Fly System. A cozy indoor arena with sprinkler system to provide dust control, provides a starting point for our exclusive training program. A large outdoor ring along with many fenced straightaways and tree lined lanes offer a multitude of training options.
Ø The final compliment to this facility is the magnificent cedar residence. This unique home offers panoramic views of the entire property. Whether upstairs or down light floods each room from the combination of windows and skylights. The open floor plan provides wonderful views of the barns, paddocks and lush green landscape making it the perfect gathering place for clients and horse enthusiasts.
